Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data VoziVespa collects when you use this website or book a Vespa with us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We've written it to reflect exactly what this site actually does — not a generic template.

Who we are

VoziVespa is a Vespa rental business based in Zadar, Croatia. For the purposes of data protection law, VoziVespa is the "controller" of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@vozivespa.com for anything relating to your personal data, including the requests described under "Your rights" below.

What we collect, and why

When you use our Reservations page to request a booking, we collect the information you enter into that form — your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, preferred Vespa model, pickup and return dates, selected enhancements and licence confirmation — so we can check availability and arrange your rental. The request is processed on our web server and delivered through our authenticated email service; see "Who we share it with" below. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a rental agreement and, where applicable, performing that agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Outside of that form, this site has no customer accounts, online payment facility, or visitor tracking. The site also provides links that let you contact us by email, telephone, WhatsApp or social media. If you choose to contact us that way instead, we process only the information you provide so we can answer your enquiry or arrange a rental, on the same legal basis.

We do not collect or process any payment information through this website at any point.

Who we share it with

Our website hosting and email providers process reservation submissions on our behalf so the request and confirmation emails can be delivered. They act as data processors and handle this information under their own service and privacy terms. We do not sell personal data or share it for another organisation's marketing. External links and contact services are operated by their respective providers and are covered by those providers' privacy policies.

This site's typefaces are hosted locally on our own server, not by Google Fonts or any other third party. Your browser never connects to an external font provider when a page loads, and no technical information such as your IP address is disclosed to one as a result.

International transfers

Some external services linked from this site may process data outside the European Economic Area. Any such processing is governed by the provider's own privacy terms and applicable data-protection safeguards.

How long we keep it

Reservation details are retained in our email mailboxes only as long as needed to respond, arrange or administer a rental, and meet legal obligations. The booking service also keeps limited, pseudonymous security and delivery-status records for up to 30 days to prevent abuse and avoid duplicate confirmation emails.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies or analytics, and VoziVespa does not track your browsing activity. Apart from normal browser caching of static files such as images, styles and fonts, the reservation page uses temporary session storage to show a booking-summary confirmation while its tab is open. It is cleared when the booking is reset or the tab session ends.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we receive through direct contact, including restricting access to the people and systems that need it to run VoziVespa.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request erasure of your data, subject to any legal obligation we have to retain it
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@vozivespa.com. If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you have the right to complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), the supervisory authority for data protection in Croatia, or to the data protection authority in your own EU country of residence.

Children

Our services aren't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 — which is also the minimum age for renting our smallest Vespa model.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change which service providers we use. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
